Though brief, that summary of the film from the back of the box does a good job of capturing the film's romantic vibe. This is a film about beautiful young guys, in idyllic settings, who seem to have no cares in the world. In this alternate universe of gay heaven, the boys give themselves fully to passionate, romantic sex scenes.

One of the most notable facts about Love Affairs is that it's directed by former model Lukas RIdgeston. Having been a star in front of the camera, he has a unique understanding of what it's like to be a performer. As such, he manages to get extraordinary performances from his boys. He doesn't just direct the film either. He also does a lot of the camera work and edited the film himself. If you were ever a fan of Lukas, you won't want to miss this film. It's a unique look inside the heart and mind of the former star. With so much of the film created by Lukas himself, it really takes on his personality – or at least his fantasies. Watching this film, you'd have to guess that he's a true romantic, as well as someone who likes lots of casual sex!

The scenes are shot both indoors and outdoors and the settings are beautiful. Like some other Bel Ami titles, Love Affairs was shot in the gorgeous Cape Town, South Africa. It's a tropical paradise and serves as the perfect backdrop for this dreamy vision.

Ten boys inhabit the world of Love Affairs across six scenes. The boys are all stunning and the sex is passionate and nasty. In the first scene, Sascha and Alex start out riding bikes and end up poolside, where Alex ends up dropping a load right into Sascha's waiting mouth. After that, Sascha fucks him as they lay on their sides, like a pair of lovers in bed, until Sascha pulls out and shoots all over Alex's chest.

Scene two stars Jacques Briere and Josh Elliot and takes place in a garden, which seems appropriate because these boys have some planting to do! Others scenes pair up Kurt Diesel and Luke Hamill and Mark Zebro and Todd Rossett. The scene with Mark and Todd opens with the two frolicking and goofing off at the beach among the waves. After this bit of exposition, they head back to an apartment, where Todd sucks Mark's dick and then fucks him.

The final scene is a steamy session between Jean Claude and Davy, who show us how to make morning sex the hottest kind of all.

Fans of Bel Ami – and especially fans of Lukas Ridgeston – won't want to miss this fantastic film which really shows Lukas coming into his own as a director and behind-the-scenes artist.
